We had a great new (to us) model Wednesday, Tilli Branner (spelling?) who came with her late 60's motorcycle gear ready to ride cross the USA with Peter Fonda on her chopper. Fantastic job, thanks Tilli!

Return to Moulin Rouge

Debra Haden sparkled last night as a dancer from the Moulin Rouge. She had just finished this costume and was kind enough to share it with us. Thanks Debra!

Back in Black

The inimitable Stacy Walker killed it Wednesday as Black Widow, (with her great arsenal of weapons) bringing our favorite action heroine to life. Stacy says she just threw the costume together, but it sure works! Thanks Stacy!

Klimt and Showgirls

A few weeks back Daniella Traub starred as a great Klimt poster girl, very art nouveau. This past Wednesday Taryn Piana brought her Vegas showgirl best to our little stage. Viva Las Vegas!

Southern Gothic

We had artist/musician Mather Louth (Heathen Apostles, check out her band on youtube, very cool) posing a few weeks back with a great multi-layered costume that was hard to capture even at an hour per drawing! Thanks Mather, great job.

War and Peace

A couple from the last few weeks, Laura Napoli starred as our peaceful Renaissance gal, and last Wednesday was Catherine Weiss as a dangerous wilding warrior. Thanks ladies!

Anime Swordplay

We had a great new model last night, Kat Thavornkant. She makes her own amazing cosplay costumes complete with all the bells and whistles. And swords. And cat ears. ( I can't remember what the character name is for this costume, but it looked great!) Thanks Kat!

Songstress

The lovely Aryiel Hartman was our lounge/jazz singer last week, lots of black on black with sparkles and feather boa. It was Aryiel's first time here, hope to have her back soon, thanks Aryiel!

Black Canary Strikes Back

The name Black Canary doesn't sound particularly dangerous,but this bird is kicking ass and taking names! (Why do action heroes take names anyway?..) Rachel Bailit was here Wednesday night and did a heroic job. Thanks Rachel! ( I don't know why the seated pose looks so much like Scarlett Johansson, but I'll take it!)

Annie Oakley Rides Again

Marissa Gomez was back with her awesome Annie Oakley character last week. Bullseye! She also brought a CD of her new album, Marissa Gomez and the Ghosts of Echo Park, a collection of great jazz tunes you should definitely check out. Thanks Marissa!

Aliens, Sinbad and the Queen of Evil

We've had some great variety in models and themes in the last few weeks. Keith Klanderrud did a great Sinbad the sailor, Xine Zanillo was super as a colonial marine from Aliens, and Taryn Piana was evil incarnate, or something to that effect. Great costume so theme didn't matter! Thanks to all our great models.
