Connor, Cabaret and more Rosie

Another variety pack from a number of weeks ago. Laura Napoli stars as Sarah Connor from Terminator, Mather Louth in Cabaret, and another Rosie the riveter sketch with Marissa Gomez. Thanks all!

Rosie the Riveter

Marissa Gomez took time out from welding for the war effort to pose for us wednesday as Rosie the Riveter. Great job, thanks Marissa!

Gothic Cowgirls and Gibson Girls

Marissa Gomez starred as a turn of the century athletic Gibson girl, partaking in a bit of boxing and a little badminton. The next week Mather Louth was bad in black as a gothic cowgirl complete with lariat and six shooter. Thanks to you both!

Annie Oakley Rides Again

Marissa Gomez was back with her awesome Annie Oakley character last week. Bullseye! She also brought a CD of her new album, Marissa Gomez and the Ghosts of Echo Park, a collection of great jazz tunes you should definitely check out. Thanks Marissa!

Rebel Rebel

Marissa Gomez ably playing the part of a teen in trouble, a rockabilly rebel, a greaser gal. Etc. In the color piece, she watches tearfully as her sweetheart strolls off with the head cheerleader. Catfight! Thanks Marissa!

Drawing workshop never stops (I hope!)

Here are some sketches from the last 2 months or so. A torch singer, a rock and roll girl, and a bikini costume that I was never quite clear on. Doesn't matter if the poses are great, which they were. Many thanks to our great models!
