And Even more Storyboards...
Another mixed bag of boards and comps, a couple are actual people I of course had reference for. Mr. Spielberg and Tom Skerritt. And Cher. Sort of. For some reason Skerritt was selling housing developements.

Storyboards from the Past
Once upon a time, I used to draw for a living (Before Photoshop came along). I would go in-house to work at Los Angeles area ad agencies doing comps for print ads and storyboards for TV commercials. Fast and furious, my art buddies and I would crank out 8, 10, 16 frame storyboards in a day, often full color! I couldn't keep up that pace these days, but did so for about 15 years before the theme park biz grabbed me full time. Anyway, I'll post a bunch of typical sketches I did over the years, just remember most of these were without reference material and were done at light speed! Enjoy.

Flight Control
So here's a design exercise just for fun, a retro future piece. I tried a little of the the old pulp magazine color schemes to give it an older feel like the covers of Amazing Stories or Weird Tales. Speaking of story, it's a bit thin, but I think it looks pretty good, and that's enough for me!

Her Full Measure
I did this piece in the style of First World War posters, the field nurse giving her all to protect the wounded Tommy from the Hun. Huzzah!
